The Brain

The Brain is a space where the client, a filmmaker, can work out his ideas in a remote and isolated environment. Must be nice.

Garducho Biological Centre

Garducho Biological Centre, Mourao, Portugal by Ventura Trindade Arquitectos
The site is located close to the Guadiana River, which is designated as a Special Protection Area due to the abundance of rare wildlife. Designed by Ventura Trindade, the scape hosts a research center, exhibition space, as well as a residential area. Built in a remote area, the building had to be largely self sustainable; lifted off of the ground it does not disturb the natural landscape.

Hotel de Sers

At the outset of the 20th century, the Hôtel de Sers housed a medical facility. In accordance with the architectural style of the 1930's, the building was lifted up onto four additional floors and attached to a six-storey building overlooking the courtyard. Inside it was redivided, with each bedroom being accorded a private lavatory as a result. In 1935, the transformed Hôtel de Sers became a travellers' hotel. Newly renovated and restored, it is back in its original role: a discretely luxurious home, comfortable, and inviting, located in this most enduringly seductive capital city.

Cliff House

Cliff House has had five major incarnations since its beginnings in 1858. Perched on the cliffs outside San Francisco, its second edition stood for seven years before being burned down in a fire in 1907.
After looking at a lot of images of the iconic building, I really enjoyed the ones that focused on the people, using the house as a backdrop. I love the clothes that they are wearing to the beach.
